The problem
Tradespeople spend a lot of evening time writing quotes, often days after the site visit. By then the customer may have accepted someone else’s quote. The goal was for the quote to go out before the tradesperson is back home.

Tilbudsroboten: quoting app for tradespeople
Tilbudsroboten is an app for plumbers, electricians, carpenters and painters who want to send a quote straight after the site visit. The tradesperson describes the job, and the app builds the quote with the company’s own rates.
What we built
We built a mobile app for iOS and Android where the tradesperson describes the job in their own words, including by voice. The quote text is suggested by AI, while prices, VAT and totals are always calculated by the app itself, never by AI. The customer signs through a link without logging in, and the app sends a reminder before the quote expires. The company is looked up in the Norwegian business register at sign-up.
