INOVIX / Services

Websites for tradespeople

A tradesperson’s website should show which jobs you take, where you work and what you have done before, and make it easy to request a site visit. INOVIX builds websites for plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters and tilers.

The website INOVIX built for the tiling company AUS TOP Tiling in Sydney.

01

One page per service

People search for the job they need done: a new bathroom, a heat pump, insulation, kitchen tiling. Give your main services a page each, with what the job involves, what affects the price and photos of work you have done. Small variations of the same thing do not need separate pages; then the pages compete with each other.

02

Say clearly where you work

List the municipalities and areas you cover, and where you are based. It helps customers see whether you will come to them, and helps Google show you in local searches. Address and phone number must match on the website, your Google Business Profile and directories.

03

Finished work builds trust

For a tradesperson, reference projects are what convince people most. A few good before-and-after photos, what the job involved and where it was done say more than general promises about quality. Show your company registration, and mention any certifications or trade qualifications you hold.

04

Make it easy to request a site visit

A short form where the customer describes the job, attaches photos and gives an address gives you what you need to reply quickly. The phone number should be tappable on mobile. After the visit, the quote can be sent from Tilbudsroboten, the quoting app we built for tradespeople.

Built by INOVIX

The AUS TOP Tiling website is a site we built for a tiling company in Sydney, with services, reference projects and a form to describe the job.

Tilbudsroboten, a quoting app for tradespeople is built by INOVIX. The tradesperson describes the job, the app builds the quote with their own rates, and the customer signs without logging in.

A good place to start.

  • Which three jobs do you want more of?
  • Which areas do you cover?
  • Do you have photos of finished work?
  • Who answers enquiries, and how fast?

Questions & answers

What does a website for a tradesperson cost?

Our basic package covers up to five pages, a mobile-friendly design, basic search optimisation and the domain and hosting for the first year. More service pages or a custom design cost more. See our pricing page for current prices.

Is a profile on a marketplace or Facebook enough?

It can bring in work, but you do not own the profile, and you are listed next to your competitors. Your own website is where customers land when they search your company name or get you recommended, and every profile can link to it.

Can you help with text and photos?

Yes. We write the text with you, based on how you actually work, and help select and edit photos of finished jobs.
