We agree on access to code, documentation and a suitable test environment. The review is scoped and does not modify production data or deploy code without separate agreement.
We map builds, deployments, external dependencies and failure detection. Assess critical user journeys and known issues alongside tests and documentation. Distinguish observations from assumptions and identify areas that could not be inspected. This is not a penetration test or security certification.
The output may include a system map, findings and prioritised actions. Explain why an action matters and what dependencies remain. A working system does not automatically require a rewrite. The review can inform handover or further development, while remediation is agreed separately.
